*Lu revisits Sweet Old World, her 4th album (the first two were on Folkways) and brings out greater depth in the songs. Found myself loving several of the pieces from Three Mo' Tenors. I guess I have to give Ragtime a listen! This Vance album is all his version of familiar songs, some that he grew up with. rerecording of songs from the early albums. Jay Ansill with an early
release I was delighted to find recently, Harp and small ensemble
jazz-fusion. Some lovely music.*)
